FAQs

Can I attend solo? Can I attend with my friend/partner/family member?

Of course! Come solo or with a friend or two or four. Most of our travelers come solo. Let us know when you are booking if you want to share a room with a specific member.

What if I am not interested in surfing?

No problem! We encourage you to give it a try, but if it’s not your thing, Siargao has so much more to offer — from island hopping and exploring lagoons to yoga and chill beach time.

How many people are on the retreat?

Our retreats are typically 7–14 guests plus 2 retreat guides — the perfect mix for connection and adventure.

Are there any requirements?
  • Must be at least 18+
  • Must know how to swim
  • Must have a positive attitude!
Do I need to be a yogi or good surfer?

Absolutely not! All activities are optional and suitable for every level — beginner to advanced. We’re here to have fun, not to compete!

What is NOT included?
  • International airfare
  • Travel insurance
  • Meals out in town
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Tips for staff
  • Any add-on excursions not listed
What should I pack?

Everyone is different and we’ll send a detailed packing list once you’ve booked, but here are some helpful reminders:

  • Bathing suit or board shorts + rashguard
  • Activewear / yoga wear
  • Beach coverup
  • Sandals or flip flops
  • Casual clothing for exploring
  • Hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat, paddle board, or surfboard?

Nope! A yoga mat and surfboard will be provided for you. If you have a favorite rashguard or wetsuit, feel free to bring it!

What airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Manila, Cebu, or Clark International Airport, then booking a regional flight to Sayak Airport (IAO) on Siargao Island. We’ll share detailed flight suggestions closer to your trip.

Money & Currency

The official currency of the Philippines is the Philippine Peso (PHP). We recommend withdrawing cash at the airport ATM for extras like meals out, massages, or souvenirs. Many small shops and restaurants are cash-only.

How do I get around the island?

We’ll handle all transportation for included activities! For personal exploring, tuk-tuks and scooters are the main local rides — cheap, fun, and full of island charm.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Absolutely! All meals are plant-based and we can accommodate gluten-free, vegan, or other dietary restrictions. Just let us know when booking.
