Less than a two-minute stroll from a quiet, uncrowded surf break and stunning playa, our boho beach house features a lush private backyard with a huuuuge pool, a mix of private or shared rooms (including ocean-view options), plenty of inviting social and quiet spaces with reliable WiFi, and an intimate space that’s perfect for yoga or relaxing in the shade.

Absolutely! We can accommodate gluten-free, vegan, or other dietary restrictions. Just let us know when booking.
We recommend flying into Liberia Airport (LIR) or San José International Airport (SJO). We will provide private transportation to and from LIR airport if you arrive and depart within our suggested time window. If you decide to fly into another airport or outside our suggested time window, we can book you private transportation at an additional cost.
The official currency in Costa Rica is the Colón (CRC), but US dollars are widely accepted in the Guanacaste region. Credit cards are accepted in most restaurants and shops, but please bring cash for small purchases like souvenirs and tips for staff. ATMs are also available. Do not forget to notify your bank that you will be traveling!
Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a friend or family member (women and non-binary folks). Your final trip payment is due 60 days before the start date. If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, please contact your travel insurance, as they may be able to cover your expenses. Your understanding of these policies is greatly appreciated.
You can if you want, but you don’t need to! A surfboard and yoga mat will be provided for you. If you have a favorite rashguard or wetsuit, feel free to bring it!
Everyone is different and we’ll send a detailed packing list once you’ve booked, but here are some helpful reminders:
- Bathing suit or board shorts + rashguard
- Activewear / yoga wear
- Beach coverup
- Sandals or flip flops
- Casual clothing for exploring
- Hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle
- Personal toiletries & medication
- Power adapter – The Philippines uses Type A, B, and C plugs

Absolutely not! All activities are optional and suitable for every level — beginner to advanced. We’re here to have fun, not to compete!

- Must have a positive attitude!
Our retreats are typically 7–14 guests plus 2 retreat guides — intimate, but there’s always someone to gab with.
No problem! We encourage you to give it a try, but if it’s not your thing, there is so much more to do— from boat trips and hiking to yoga and chill beach time…
Of course! Come solo or with a friend or two or four. Most of our travelers come solo. Let us know when you are booking if you want to share a room with a specific person.
