Designed with the conscious traveler in mind and entirely surrounded by the natural beauty of Bocas del Toro, our surf retreat space is unique and thoughtfully designed for you to fully enjoy and disconnect.
Each room features dreamy jungle or ocean views, deliciously comfortable beds, and a private porch perfect for your morning coffee or sunset unwinding. The yoga deck is a little slice of paradise for your practice, not to mention the wildly beautiful views. Our meals are served right on the water of our surf villa. And if you’re lucky, you might catch Bad Bunny, the resident Caiman who lives in the lotus pond.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bocas del Toro uses the U.S. Dollar (USD) as its official currency. We recommend you bring USD cash with you for meals out, souvenirs in town, etc. Isla Colon does have ATMS available but they can be unreliable, so we strongly recommend you bring USD cash with you.
We’ll handle all transportation for included activities! For personal exploring, hop on a small boat taxi to get from one islet to the next.
We recommend flying into Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City. From there, you will need to travel to Albrook Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport (PAC) to fly to Bocas del Toro (BOC). You will receive a flight information document about 3 months before your trip start date.
Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a friend or family member (women and non-binary folks). Your final trip payment is due 60 days before the start date. If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, please contact your travel insurance, as they may be able to cover your expenses. Your understanding of these policies is greatly appreciated.
Absolutely! All meals are plant-based and we can accommodate gluten-free, vegan, or other dietary restrictions. Just let us know when booking.
You can if you want, but you don’t need to! A surfboard and yoga mat will be provided for you. If you have a favorite rashguard or wetsuit, feel free to bring it!
Everyone is different and we’ll send a detailed packing list once you’ve booked, but here are some helpful reminders:
- Bathing suit or board shorts + rashguard
- Activewear / yoga wear
- Beach coverup
- Sandals or flip flops
- Casual clothing for exploring
- Hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle
- Personal toiletries & medication
- Power adapter – The Philippines uses Type A, B, and C plugs

Absolutely not! All activities are optional and suitable for every level — beginner to advanced. We’re here to have fun, not to compete!
- Must be at least 18+
- Must know how to swim
- Must have a positive attitude!
Our retreats are typically 7–14 guests plus 2 retreat guides — intimate, but there’s always someone to gab with.
No problem! We encourage you to give it a try, but if it’s not your thing, there is so much more to do— from boat trips and hiking to yoga and chill beach time…
Of course! Come solo or with a friend or two or four. Most of our travelers come solo. Let us know when you are booking if you want to share a room with a specific person.
